Now What? Conference was created to provide the region with a chance to watch and meet some of the world’s foremost experts in web strategy and governance. All interested parties are welcome, and unique perspectives are both encouraged and appreciated.
Now What? Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.
Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any workshop or presentation, including during discussion or on social media, or during any associated events such as parties and meetups. Participants violating these rules may be expelled from the conference with no refund at the discretion of Now What? Conference.
We do not tolerate harassment of any participants in any form. We follow the JSConf’s definition of harassment:
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If you feel the Now What? Conference Code of Conduct has been breached by an attendee, speaker, or organizer, please find a staff member or volunteer (wearing a staff/volunteer badge) or reach out directly and immediately to either Corey Vilhauer (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Karla Santi (email@example.com).
Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
